Today marks the fourth day of black history
month. This is a month where, we as a nation, have chosen to reflect on the
amazing and inspirational achievements of African Americans in this country.
Today we acknowledge James Forten. He formed the Free African Society to
help African-Americans when they were out of work from illness or to help them
buy their freedom.
