On
Friday, September 29th the ASPIRE center will host a drop in session
for parents to discuss FAFSA and Financial Aid tips. You can
register for this event by going to the College and Career Planning link on the
Sprague Counseling webpage. You can also sign up for upcoming college

Guest forms for Homecoming dance can be picked up in the main
office. The form must be completed and returned by October 2nd. 10/2
October
11th is PSAT day at Sprague High School. If you are wanting to
sign up for the PSAT test to qualify for National Merit Scholarship, see the
bookkeeper and pay your $16.00 dollars before October 4th. The
cost will increase to $20 dollars if you wait until after October 4th
to register. As a reminder, all Sophomores are given this assessment free
of charge. This year all Freshman will also be given the 8/9 PSAT test
and will not need to pay for this assessment either. If you have questions

Please
come to Rm 166 to glaze and/or pick up your pottery pieces from last year. Pieces
that needed re-firing last year, have been re-fired and are ready to go
home! So, please come get your amazing pieces in the next two weeks.

Good Morning Olympians! The GSA (Gay/Straight
Alliance) Club is up and running! We will have our first meeting
Wednesday, October 4th from 2:30 to 3:15 in room 119 (that's the American
Sign Language classroom). Please join students who support the LGBTQ
community and take advantage of an opportunity to run for a GSA Club officer
position. We can't wait to meet you!

Sprague Students! The outside courtyard area and breezeway will be closed
through the end of the week due to the expectations for lunch time behavior not
being met. As a reminder, during lunch we must follow our OLY expectations of
Owning our Actions, Living a Life you are Proud of, and saying Yes to Success.
This means, that you must clean up your area, take care of any garbage, and not
leave a mess.

Olys! Are you interested in business and a trail blazers game? Friday after
school from 2:30 – 3 in Room 142 there will be another informational meeting

Homecoming
tickets will be going on sale soon.
Remember you must have all fines and fees paid before you can
purchase. Check with the bookkeeper to
make sure you have none so you can purchase a ticket!

soft and fluffy to keep you warm at football games and show off your school

Sprague
is looking at adding a Sprague HOSA chapter. There will be a meeting on
Wednesday at lunch in Mr. Mahi’s room (room 17) to determine interest, share
some information and to answer questions. Come learn about this potentially new
opportunity.
The
Oly JV team had a late cancelation Sunday night but were able to schedule a
game with Silverton on Thursday night. The Olys came away with their 2nd
victory in 4 days with a 41-19 victory. The Olys move to 5-0 on the
season and host Lebanon next Thursday at 7:00.
Next
week is homecoming week and the dress up day for Monday is pajama day.
Today
is the last day for Chain Reaction's Homecoming dress giveaway. We have given away
several dresses and still have more left . Come by the girls locker room either
at lunch or briefly after school and see if we can help you find your dress.
Attention
College Bound Students: Beginning Sunday, October 1st,
the 2018-19 Free Application for Federal Student Aid will open for any student
planning to attend a community college, 4-year university, or trade
