The Freshman and Sophomore Football team traveled to Southridge HS of Beaverton yesterday and came away with a dominating victory.  After a slow start, the Olympians defense dominated the Skyhawks, leaving them scoreless in the 2nd and 3rd Quarters.  Will Hassoun (Ha Soon) and Josh Camillo (Ka Mell O) both had interceptions for touchdowns, Cody Schnack (Sha Nack) caused a fumble and Gavin Nguyen (Na when) harrassed the quarterback. On Offense, Colton Herring and Blaise Pearson both caught touchdown passes from Will Hassoun and Logan Smith and the offensive line led by Blake Stubblefield, Tobin Riddle, Dom Krummen (Crew Man) and Cole Steketee (Ste Ke T) opened up huge running lanes for Riley Davis and Nico Fox.  Please come out and support the team this upcoming Thursday, Oct. 3rd at 6pm in the Stadium.

Reminder to all of the players, film in Coach Charles' room immediately following school.  We will practice after film.

Eighteen years ago on Sept. 11, 2001, terrorists took control of two commercial airliners and flew them into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Another plane crashed in the Pennsylvania countryside after the brave revolt of its passengers. As a nation we promised to never forget.  Please pause for a few moments to honor the nearly 3000 Americans who perished that day and their families.

Do you like to talk? Do you like to argue? Do you like to travel and meet people from across the West Coast? If so, Sprague has an activity for you! Sprague Speech and Debate is looking for students who are looking to challenge themselves in the field of competitive speaking and debate. Just how does one go about joining Sprague's Speech and Debate team? Come to Mr. Curry's room, Room 133, today, Wednesday - September 11th - at lunch for an informational meeting. We'll go over what the team is, practice schedule, and answer your questions about Salem's best speech program. Want to know more now? Swing by 133 and hit up Curry for more details. 9/11
