Attention graduating Olympians. If you are part of the graduating class of 2018 and want an active part in your graduation ceremonies, consider applying for a spot as a student speaker during either the Thursday Awards Ceremony or the Friday evening Commencement Ceremony. This is an open tryout, available to all Olympians who are graduating in June. The process is simple: see Mr. Curry in Room 133 for an application form. Fill it out and return it by May 4th along with a copy of your speech. On the form, indicate which afternoon you want to try out: May 9th, 10th, or 11th. Staff and administrators will evaluate the speeches and announce Thursday morning and Friday evening speakers. This is a great opportunity to make one final impact on your fellow classmates and the community as a whole, and the more students who try out, the higher quality speeches we get to enjoy in June. If you have any questions, or want to pick up the graduation form, come see Mr. Curry in room 133 today. 4/11
