Attention graduating Olympians. If you are part of the graduating class of 2018 and want an active part in your graduation ceremonies, consider applying for a spot as a student speaker during either the Thursday Awards Ceremony or the Friday evening Commencement Ceremony. This is an open tryout, available to all Olympians who are graduating in June. The process is simple: see Mr. Curry in Room 133 for an application form. Fill it out and return it by May 4^th along with a copy of your speech. On the form, indicate which afternoon you want to try out: May 9^th, 10^th, or 11^th. Staff and administrators will evaluate the speeches and announce Thursday morning and Friday evening speakers. This is a great opportunity to make one final impact on your fellow classmates and the community as a whole, and the more students who try out, the higher quality speeches we get to enjoy in June. Attention all students: Leadership, Spanish and French national honor societies are partnering together to hold a cultural diversity potluck! The potluck will be on Friday, April 20^th from 2:30 – 3:30 in the commons. All students are welcome. The cost is either bringing a cultural dish to share or $5 if you don’t bring a dish to share. Sign-up sheets to bring food are posted outside Mr. Schueller’s, Mrs. Downs, and Mrs. Lentz’s rooms. We hope to see you all there to celebrate all of the diversity at Sprague! 4/20

This week’s scholarship spotlight is the Oregon Jaycees Scholarship.   This one time grant will be awarded to a graduating Oregon high school senior.  Applicants must have at least a 3.75 unweighted GPA to qualify.  For More Information, please see Ms. Dunn. 4/6

All those interested in playing volleyball next season, spring practices begin Tuesday April 10th and run every Tuesday and Thursday 3pm-4:30pm thru the end of June!  Be there! 4/10

Attention all students: On Thursday, April 19^th, during cultural diversity week, Sprague will be hosting a guest speaker who will present stories of survival during the holocaust. Seats are limited and you must fill out an application to attend. You can pick up an application in room 142 (Mr. Schueller’s room) or the athletic office.
