Do you want to win a
$15 dollar dutch bros gift card? Do you or someone you know have a prom dress
or prom accessories that are not used anymore? Sprague will be doing its 2nd
Annual prom dress and accessory drive to help collect items for local
non-profit Abby’s Closet. You can help by bringing items that include prom
dresses, accessories or cash. We will be collecting these items during the
weeks of March 12th through April 5th. Items donated will be worth 1 entry in
the drawing, cash or 5 items will double your entries and 10 items/ $20 or more
dollars will triple your entries. If you have any questions, please ask Mr.

Congratulations to the
Sprague Speech and Debate team for their outstanding work last weekend at the
North Oregon National Speech and Debate National Championship Qualifier held at
Clackamas Community College. Olympians competed against students from the
Portland Metro area for a chance to represent Oregon at the National
Championship Tournament held in June in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The team
placed 4th overall and the following Olys won individual awards:
Emma Michaux placed 4th in Informative speaking and is the 2nd
Alternate to Nationals. Francesca Thompson placed 3rd in Program
Oral Interpretation and is the 1st Alternate to Nationals. Lindsey
Williams placed 2nd in United States Extemporaneous Speaking, but
qualified to Nationals by winning Lincoln Douglas Debate, going an undefeated
6&0, losing only one of her 18 judges. And Chauncey Koulibali placed 1st
in Program Oral Interpretation, qualifying to Nationals as well. Great Job Oly
Speechies and good luck at Nationals!
