Today through November
6, 2018, The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards is looking for the top youth
volunteers of the year in each U.S. state and the District of Columbia. Students in grades 5-12 are invited to apply
for 2019 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards if they have made meaningful
contributions to their communities through volunteer service within the past 12
months. The application is available in the office or at http://spirit.prudential.com
and www.nassp.org/spirit.
Students: starting
Thursday, Sept 13th, we will be ticketing students that do not have
a parking pass and are parked in unauthorized spaces. Students are not to
park in visitors, numbered spaces, curbs, areas with red curbs or behind the
school at any times. You will be ticketed and run the risk of being
towed. Parking on campus is a privilege, students that don’t maintain an
85% attendance rate or do not follow safe driving practices WILL have their
permits revoked, with no refunds. 9/13
Key Club, which is a
community service club here at Sprague, will be meeting on Thursday September
13th during lunch in 116. Everyone is welcome – come and check
it out!

Sprague
Waterpolo Club had the following information to share. The Girls team beat South Salem tonight
5-3. Izzy Altman scored 2 goals, and Megan Ivie, Kelsey Olson and Caitlyn
Evenson scored one goal each. The Boys
team lost to South Salem 11-19. Lucas Murphy scored 6 goals, Theo Lassen
scored 4 goals and Griffin Geiling scored 1 goal.
