The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards is looking for the top youth volunteers of the year in each U.S. state and the District of Columbia.   Students in grades 5-12 are invited to apply for 2019 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards if they have made meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service within the past 12 months. The application is available in the office or at http://spirit.prudential.com and www.nassp.org/spirit.  Applications taken through November 6, 2018.

Starting Monday, September 24^th the ASPIRE Center will begin hosting college admissions counselors.  This week, admission counselors from Pacific University, Western Oregon University, Savannah College Art & Design, Whitman College, Corban, Southern Oregon, Grand Canyon, University of Oregon, and Linfield will be visiting our campus.  Want to sign up for any college visit?  The sign up link was sent to your school email address or check out the link on the Featured Page of the Sprague website. 9/24

Attention Juniors:  If you are interested in taking the PSAT test on October 10^th to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship please register for the test. Pay your fee of $16.00 to the bookkeeper prior to October 3^rd, and $20.00 after. You may also pay online through the Salem-Keizer website under Parents. The last day to register is October 9^th.   

Buenos Dias OLYS! Do you know what politician TED CRUZ, entertainer JENNIFER LOPEZ and astronaut ELLEN OCHOA  all have in common? They are all accomplished Hispanic Americans. In celebration of HISPANIC HERITAGE month, the Spanish Honor Society along with Spanish 3 and AP Spanish students have adorned the Foreign Language hallways with information about several famous Hispanic people. Be sure to pause and read about a few of these amazing people on your way to class! 9/21

ASB cards are now able to be printed.  If you have a receipt and need your card printed, you may go to the College and Career Center and see Mrs. King.  9/21

Do you have a passion for fashion? If so, be sure to stop by Madame Downs’ classroom (room 123) for French Club on Tuesday September 25th during lunch. We will celebrate Paris Fashion week and enjoy snacks! All are welcome, so bring your friends! See you then!  9/25

Release Cards: If you have a release period please come to the Main Office and sign up for a release card.  Once you sign up – wait a day  - and then return to the Main Office for your actual release card.
