Attention Juniors: If you are interested in taking the PSAT test
on October 10th to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship please
register for the test. Pay your fee of $16.00 to the bookkeeper prior to
October 3rd, and $20.00 after. You may also pay online through the
Salem-Keizer website under Parents. The last day to register is October 9th.
Release Cards: If you
have a release period please come to the Main Office and sign up for a release
card. Once you sign up – wait a
day - and then return to the Main Office for your actual release
card.
ASB
cards are now able to be printed. If you
have a receipt and need your card printed, you may go to the College and Career
Center and see Mrs. King. 9/21
The Sprague Library is
celebrating Banned Books Week. This is an
annual event celebrating the freedom to read. Highlighting the value of free
and open access to information, Banned Books Week brings together the entire
book community –- librarians, booksellers, publishers, journalists, teachers,
and readers of all types –- in shared support of the freedom to seek, to
publish, to read, and to express ideas, even those some consider unorthodox or
unpopular. Stop by the library and see if your favorite book has been
challenged.
Reminder
to all prospective graduates of 2019 & 2020, you and your family are
invited to this year’s FAFSA Night on Wednesday, September 26th at 6
p.m. in the library. 9/26
On Wednesday, October
10th the Daughters of the American Revolution will be
conducting an essay contest. Any senior or early graduate who is interested in
participating in the essay contest, please contact Ms. Dunn in the ASPIRE
Center. 10/10
Starting
this week, Recruiters from the each US military branch will begin visiting our
campus during lunchtime. 9/28
