Attention all seniors interested in applying for the National Honor Society.  Applications are now available in Mr. Kniefel’s (cuh nee full) room.  Room 134.  Applications are due no later than November 15th, so please stop by and get one as soon as possible. 11/11

Looking to play tennis this spring? The captains of the girls' tennis team are having a drop-in meeting TODAY after school in the library. Stop by and pick up information about the upcoming season. 11/5 

Attention all wrestlers and anybody interested in wrestling! Next week will be our kick-off wrestling and goal setting camp from Monday November 8th to Wednesday November 10th. Each day will run from 3:45 pm - 6:00 pm. If you're currently participating in a fall sport, please focus on that. Season starts Monday, November 15th! Make sure you are signed up and registered on Family ID prior to then! See Coach A in Room 10 if you have any questions.

Just a reminder, winter sports registration is still open but not for long! Winter season starts November 15th! Get your registration and sports physical in now to prevent any delay from participating in try outs. Please stop by the athletic office if you need a new physical form. If you have a release period, please go to the main office during your assigned lunch time, before or after school or during your release period to pick up your Release Card.

Our new swim coach Kate Mathews will be hosting a parent/student meeting tomorrow, November 9th at 6pm in the library. Please come welcome our new coach! 11/9

Girls’ basketball and frosh boys’ basketball tryouts are November 15th and 16th from 6-8pm in the main gym. Boys’ basketball 10-12th grade tryouts are November 15th and 16th from 3:45-6pm in the main gym. You MUST have your FamilyID registration and sports physical turned in before tryouts! 

The Sprague Olyannes dance team competed in their first competition of the fall season at Rex Putnam High school on Saturday,  November 6. The team placed first in the novelty category and second in the modern category. Their high scores qualified both routines for the dance team fall championships in December.  In addition, 8 dancers placed in the top 10 of their drill down divisions. In the novice category: freshmen Bella Terzenbach and Gillian Rodriguez Lentz and sophomores Hailey Varner and Lyndsey Tudela won awards. In the advanced division,  juniors Kayla Poduba and Madeline Aballay and seniors Olivia Option and Ayiesha Chang were winners. These individuals also qualified to compete in the individual drill down competition at the fall championships. Congratulations to all of the Olyannes!
