Olys, we need your help! With the holidays coming up, leadership is working to create food boxes with grocery gift cards for families in need. We have donation boxes stationed in several classrooms, but more importantly, we have money donation jars in Ms. Atkinson’s classroom (133) so that we can provide families with much needed grocery gift cards. ANY amount, no matter how small, helps, so bring that loose change in. This is a chance for your class to show spirit and earn class points by giving back to those in our community. For more information, check out the flyers posted around the building, or see Ms. Atkinson.

Sprague High School values the diverse language abilities of our students and provides opportunities for students with strong skills in a language other than English to earn world language credit. Students earn world language credits by taking a test that assesses their language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Contact the testing specialist Geordan Lightburn in room 136 to learn more about registering for a proficiency test available in your language. The deadline to register is December 15.

Sprague students!  Please return any borrowed chromebooks and chargers to the library by the end of the day today. Thank you!

Love to dance and perform?  Looking to be involved in something at Sprague?  Be part of the Winter Guard!  Membership is open to all students, and no experience is necessary.  Those interested should attend the free guard workshops offered after Thanksgiving break.  See Ms. Vowles in room 175 for details or with questions. 11/23

The Sprague Olyannes dance team placed first in Novelty and first in the Modern divisions at the West Albany dance team competition on Saturday, November 20.  In addition, 7 dancers placed in the individual drill down competition.  Freshmen Bella Terzenbach and Gillian Rodriguez Lentz, sophomores Lyndsey Tudela and Teresa Thao placed in the novice division. In the advanced division, juniors Madeline Aballay and Kayla Pobuda and senior Olivia Opton won awards. The team will wrap up their fall season by competing in the DDCA category championships in December. Congratulations to the dance team! 11/23
