 November 10, 2021

Attention all seniors interested in applying for the National Honor Society.  Applications are now available in Mr. Kniefel’s (cuh nee full) room.  Room 134.  Applications are due no later than November 15th, so please stop by and get one as soon as possible. 11/11

Olys, we need your help! With the holidays coming up, leadership is working to create food boxes with grocery gift cards for families in need. We have donation boxes stationed in several classrooms, but more importantly, we have money donation jars in Ms. Atkinson’s classroom (133) so that we can provide families with much needed grocery gift cards. ANY amount, no matter how small, helps, so bring that loose change in. This is a chance for your class to show spirit and earn class points by giving back to those in our community. For more information, check out the flyers posted around the building, or see Ms. Atkinson.

If you have a release period, please go to the main office during your assigned lunch time, before or after school or during your release period to pick up your Release Card.

Just a reminder, winter sports registration is still open… but not for long! Winter season starts November 15th! Get your registration and sports physical in now to prevent any delay from participating in try outs. Please stop by the athletic office if you need a new physical form. Go to https://www.familyid.com/organizations/sprague-high-school to register now! Go Oly’s!

Girls’ basketball tryouts are November Monday, 15th and Tuesday, 16th from 6-8pm in the main gym.

Boys’ basketball 10-12th grade try outs are Monday, November 15th and Tuesday, 16th from 3:45-6:00pm in the main gym and frosh boys’ basketball tryouts are from 6:00-8:00pm in the main gym.

Those who registered for wrestling, meet in the wrestling room on Monday, November 15th at 3:45pm for your first practice!

Swim practices and meets will be at the Kroc Center across town in North Salem/Keizer area starting on Monday, November 15th at 7:00-8:30pm.

You MUST have your FamilyID registration and sports physical turned in before tryouts or practice! Also, students need to have passed 3 out of 4 classes from Quarter 4 from last year, and pass at least 5 out of 8 classes from first semester this year in order to compete in OSAA athletics and activities, including our music programs.

A final word to say thanks to all of our Fall student athletes and coaches for your incredible efforts this Fall season and during the last couple of years during a pandemic.  Also, thank you seniors for your leadership this past season!
