Congratulations to Sprague math team members Helayna Janes, Camden White and Ben Russon who competed at the Oregon Invitational Mathematics Tournament this past weekend at Portland State University.  In the team problem solving competition, Helayna Janes team consisting of four randomly selected students took first place in the geometry and algebra 2 division.  Way to go Olys!

Congratulations to the boy’s tennis team who took 4th in state this past weekend.  Judson Blair took 2nd place in state in singles, Ben Whitson and Anthony Martinez won a match in the doubles tournament and Josiah Barkes and Joshua Bradshaw participated as well.  Nicely done boy’s tennis on a great year.

Attention members of the Class of 2019, The Counseling department is asking you to complete the Post High School survey featured on the Sprague Website.  The deadline to submit your college choice, military enlistment, religious mission, or employment opportunity after high school graduation is today. 

Rehearsals for Sprague Dance Team tryouts continue tonight in the auxiliary gym from 7 to 9 pm.  Rehearsals continue today with auditions on Thursday at 7 pm.  Audition forms are available in the athletic office and can be turned in at auditions. Sprague athletic registration must be completed online at FamilyID  prior to auditions.

In Boys State tournament golf: Congratulations to Jonathan Scott for finishing in 15th place at the boys state golf tournament which was held at Trysting tree golf course. Jonathan shot a 2 day total of 152. There were 91 players in the tournament. He missed out on a top ten medal by only 2 shots.

The girls golf team finished 8th out of the 14 teams to qualify for the State Championship. Quincy Beyrouty finished tied for 18th shooting 81 and 80. Reese Sherwood finished 35th for the second straight year shooting 90 and 85. Jasmin Gimmer, Chloe Elmore, and Maddy Neufeld improved over the two days to help earn the team’s finish.
