Olys, we need your help! With the holidays coming up, leadership is working to create food boxes with grocery gift cards for families in need. We have donation boxes stationed in several classrooms, but more importantly, we have money donation jars in Ms. Atkinson’s classroom (133) so that we can provide families with much needed grocery gift cards. ANY amount, no matter how small, helps, so bring that loose change in. This is a chance for your class to show spirit and earn class points by giving back to those in our community. For more information, check out the flyers posted around the building, or see Ms. Atkinson.

Please make sure you have your sports physical turned in. You will not be able to participate in athletics until the athletic office has a completed copy! Also, students need to have passed 3 out of 4 classes from Quarter 4 from last year and pass at least 5 out of 8 classes from the first semester this year to compete in OSAA athletics and activities, including our music programs.

Boys’ basketball 10-12th grade tryouts are tonight from 3:45-6:00pm in the main gym and freshman boys’ basketball tryouts are from 6:00-8:00pm in the main gym. 11/16

Girls’ basketball tryouts are tonight from 6-8pm in the main gym. 11/16

Attention All Sprague Baseball Players! There will be an important BASEBALL meeting this Friday at 1:15 in the Weight room. Please be on time and ready to listen. 11/19

The Sprague Olyannes dance team attended their second competition of the fall season at Clackamas High school on November 13. The dance team placed first in the novelty and third in the modern divisions improving their overall scores from the first week of competition.  Their high scores have qualified both routines for the fall championships in December.  Congratulations to the Olyannes!

Please return borrowed Chromebooks and Chargers to the library as soon as possible.  The supply of emergency Chromebooks is almost depleted!  This is also a friendly reminder to SAY YES to SUCCESS! Bring your student Chromebook AND charger to school each day.  Do you not have one checked out for the year?  See Mrs. Hardey in the Library. 11/19

Sprague High School values the diverse language abilities of our students and provides opportunities for students with strong skills in a language other than English to earn world language credit. Students earn world language credits by taking a test that assesses their language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Contact your school counselor to learn more about registering for a proficiency test available in your language. The deadline to register is December 15. 12/15
