As we know Olys, the giving season is upon us and what’s better than being able to make this Christmas a memorable one for a kid? You can do just that by donating to our Annual Hoover Gift Drive by taking necessities such as gloves and beanies as well as lots of toys to our Hoover Gift Boxes kept and located in Mr. Nickel’s Room 102, Mrs. Keating-Thomas’s Room 117, Mr. Mahi’s Room 17, Mr. Masten’s Room 143 and Mrs. Oliver’s Room 8. This helps us put together gift bags with toys and necessities for over 400 students at Hoover Elementary, so this is just as important and means just as much to us as it would mean to the kids so please make sure to donate if possible!

Olys, we need your help! With the holidays coming up, leadership is working to create food boxes with grocery gift cards for families in need. We have donation boxes stationed in several classrooms, but more importantly, we have money donation jars in Ms. Atkinson’s classroom (133) so that we can provide families with much needed grocery gift cards. ANY amount, no matter how small, helps, so bring that loose change in. This is a chance for your class to show spirit and earn class points by giving back to those in our community. For more information, check out the flyers posted around the building, or see Ms. Atkinson.
