10th the Daughters of the American Revolution will be
conducting an essay contest. Any senior or early graduate who is interested in
participating in the essay contest, please contact Ms. Dunn in the ASPIRE

Attention
Juniors: If you are interested in taking
the PSAT test on October 10th to qualify for the National Merit
Scholarship please register for the test. Today is the last day to pay only
$16.00. Beginning tomorrow the fee will be $20.00. The last day to register is

This
Saturday, the ASPIRE Center will be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to assist
graduating seniors and their families on their College applications, FAFSA, and

Several of you Olys
have asked when the Gay-Straight Alliance club will be back up and
running, so we decided to have the first meeting at lunch next Wednesday,
October 10th, in Ms. Hatfield's room. That's room 119. Feel free to
bring your lunch and a friend! We'll discuss the plan for the year for
GSA, so let's have a nice turnout with lots of ideas. See you at

On
Wednesday, October 10th starting at 5:30 p.m. , the ASPIRE Room will
be open for students or parents to work on completing their FAFSA. A
Financial Aid Representative from Western Oregon University will be available
to answer questions. 10/10
Thursday, October 11th
at 1:30 p.m. ASPIRE will be hosting an Admissions Counselor from Stanford
University. This event is open to any Sprague parent or student
interested in attending Stanford. To sign up, please email Ms.

School!! This is for the Mountain Valley Conference title. All Sprague students
