Attention Juniors:  If you are interested in taking the PSAT test tomorrow October 10th to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship please register for the test. Pay your fee of $20.00 to the bookkeeper to sign up. Today is the last day to register.   10/9

There will be a DECA meeting today in Mr. Schueller’s room at lunch, room 142. This is an informational meeting. Hope to see you there! 10/9

On Wednesday, October 10th  the Daughters of the American Revolution will be conducting an essay contest. Any senior or early graduate who is interested in participating in the essay contest, please contact Ms. Dunn in the ASPIRE Center. 10/10

GUEST DANCE FORMS FOR HOMECOMING NOW AVAILABLE IN MAIN OFFICE. HAVE THE FORM COMPLETELY FILLED OUT AND RETURN TO THE MAIN OFFICE NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 15TH-NO EXCEPTIONS. 10/15

Several of you Olys have asked when the Gay-Straight Alliance club will be back up and running, so we decided to have the first meeting at lunch on Wednesday, October 10th, in Ms. Hatfield's room.  That's room 119.  Feel free to bring your lunch and a friend!  We'll discuss the plan for the year for GSA, so let's have a nice turnout with lots of ideas.   See you at lunch on the 10th! 10/10

On Wednesday, October 10th starting at 5:30 p.m. , the ASPIRE Room will be open for students or parents to work on completing their FAFSA.  A Financial Aid Representative from Western Oregon University will be available to answer questions.  10/10

The Stanford Admission Counselor Session has been moved to South Salem at noon on Thursday, October 11th

Wednesday is PSAT Day. All Freshmen and sophomores will be taking the PSAT as well as juniors who have signed up in the main office. Please be sure to locate your testing room on the lists outside of the main office and in the commons. The PSAT consists of 3 tests: reading, math without a calculator, and math with a calculator. Please bring your own calculator for the test; phone calculator apps are not allowed. Juniors who are not taking the PSAT will be taking the ASVAB test in the commons starting at 8:00am. Seniors will be completing important graduation requirements in the Pantheon starting at 9:00am. Seniors, to minimize disruptions to the ASVAB test, please enter the Pantheon using the doors closest to the baseball fields.
  
Sprague is hosting a fall festival on Wednesday, October 17th in the stadium from 5-8pm! There will be food, free donuts, games, and more! Following the event, there will be an outdoor movie night in the stadium for Sprague students only. We will be showing a Halloween movie, so bring your friends and blankets to watch on the turf. The movie starts at 8:30, but show up early to get a spot and grab some food. Event is free – canned food donations for our thanksgiving food drive are encouraged at the gate.  See you there! 10/17

Students, the pit is closed during lunch time unless you are working with a teacher inside of a classroom. Please be sure that you are using appropriate spaces during lunch including the commons, and other approved locations. 10/16

Please excuse the girls soccer program at 11:30 today. They depart at 11:45 to travel to Bend to take on Summit High at 4 PM. Good luck girls soccer!
