Please come and pick up your pottery items and take them home.  Many are glazed.  Also, those who need to glaze your pieces please come and do so after school for the next two weeks.  After glazing they will be fired. 2/7

Attention all Track and Field Athletes:
There will be an important informational meeting after school in the wt. room on Tuesday 2/6 starting promptly at 2:30.  Even if you are in a winter sport and are planning on participating in track and field, you are expected to be there as the meeting will be brief.  See you there. 2/6

Seniors:  Friday, February 9th is your last chance to submit 2018 Yearbook Senior Portraits. You must pay the $25.00 late fee to the bookkeeper and turn in photo by February 9th.  No photos will be accepted after.  Optional quotes are due at the same time.  Send to spragueyb@gmail.com. 2/9

The boys basketball team ran their league record to 11-0 with an exciting 66-58 win Friday at home against South Salem.  Teagan Quitoriano led the way with 21 points and 12 rebounds.  Perry VanHouten went 5-6 from the three point line and scored 15 points. Jailen Hammer had 13 points 5 rebounds and 5 assists. And Kobe Withers had 13 points 5 rebounds and 3 assists.  The team will be at West Salem on Tuesday to take on the Titans.  Come on out and support your number 1 ranked Olys as they look to keep their unbeaten league record intact.  Game time is 6:45.

The Sprague Dance Team competed in their first competition of the winter season on Saturday, February 3 at Stayton High school.  The team had the second highest score in the 6A division and 9 dancers placed in the drill down competitions.  The winners in the novice division were freshmen Marisa Bradley, Sonya Frontino, Arella Rodriguez-Lenz, Natalie Venegas, Amanda Lutz, Emily Pierson and Allison Clements. In the advanced division, the winners were seniors Emily Newton and Morgan Thomas.  Congratulations to all of the Olyannes!

Congratulations to the Sprague Wrestling team who won their 6th straight conference title over the weekend. The Olympians had a school record 23 GVC placers. Winning individual titles were Bo Joklur, Josh Johnson, Daniel McClung, Landon Davis, & Santos Cantu. Making it to the finals & advancing to the state tournament were Michael Murphy, Luke Merzenich, & Jacob Luna. Overall, Sprague qualified 16 wrestlers for the state tournament & will compete for a state title in 2 weeks. Great job & good luck Sprague Winter Warriors! 2
