Oregon Black History:
In 2002 a historic vote was put before Oregon voters. It set out to
remove obsolete language from the law books. It read: Allowing this
prohibited and biased language to remain is hurtful as well as unconstitutional.
It is time to put an unenlightened period of Oregon's history behind us and
remove this language from our state Constitution.
