History: On April 22, 1999, Oregon had a day of acknowledgement
ceremony. A resolution was introduced that admitted Oregon's history was
marred by racial discrimination and great injustice toward people of color, including
Native Americans, African Americans, Chinese, Latinos, and Japanese
Americans.
On Friday, February 21st, there will
be a field trip to Chemeketa Community College for members of the senior
class. This field trip is designed to assist any senior planning to
attend Chemeketa in the Fall. To sign up, please visit Ms. Dunn in the
College & Career Center. The deadline to sign up for the field trip
is today. 2/19
Sprague! Key Club is running our annual Thousand Soles shoe drive
from February 18th through March 3rd. Please bring
in new or gently used shoes and place them in the boxes which will be located
around campus. Do something kind for others in your community who may be
in need. If you are curious, or want to volunteer, please see Ms. Harris
in room 116.
Are you interested in a movie night
with friends? Are you looking to help raise money for prom? Then come to our
first Sprague movie night tonight, February 19th, where we will be
showing “Spiderman Far From Home” at 6:30. There will be concessions and Italian
sodas for sale. Tickets will be sold in Ms. Atkinson’s room 101 today, as well
as at the door tonight. It cost $3 with ASB and $5 without ASB. Bring a camping

Attention all track and field athletes, all tennis players, golfers,
baseball and softball players, time is running out to sign up for a spring
sport. If you are planning to participate, you must get your on-line
registration completed as soon as possible. Go to the Sprague website for the
link and get this taken care of today. Remember, you must be enrolled in and
passing at least five classes and have a current sport physical on file. 2/21
Avoid the lines and purchase your Glow Dance
tickets NOW. Deadline to purchase tickets is March 6th.
All outstanding fees and fines must be paid in full to purchase dance
tickets. Glow Dance forms and procedures are on the Sprague Website and
in the Main Office. 2/21

students, please pick up your popcorn today from 10:30-11:15 in the orchestra
room today only.
Hey Olys! This Thursday, February 20th, at lunch, Sprague’s
French Club will be hosting a Mardi Gras party! There will be beignets,
chocolate coins and other tasty treats.
There will be jester hat making, jazz music and most importantly, a
chance to be King! So, come join us in room 123 in the language hall for a
Mardi Gras you’ll never forget!
