This week is National Computer Science Week.  Sprague High School is taking part in Hour of Code.  Each day this week we will be highlighting some information in the announcements.  Take some time to read the posters in the hall.  Did you know that Computer Science majors make 40% more than the average college graduate.  Keep on Coding Sprague. 12/12

Kaiser Permanente Health Care Career Scholarship Program application closes this Friday, December 13^th at 5 p.m.   This scholarship is available for a graduating senior who has a minimum weighted GPA of 2.50, planning to pursue an education and career from becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant, X-Ray Technician, Physical Therapist, or Dental Hygienist.  You can access the application at www.kp.org/kpnwscholarship . 12/13

Buenos Días Sprague! Spanish Club is having their annual Winter Fiesta this Friday after school. Everyone is welcome to come by and play traditional posada games, sample tasty Mexican food, and enjoy holiday spirit. For more information, talk to Ellie Lopez and Leriah  Cruz. Hasta pronto!

Attention Olys! If you would like to be involved with this year’s Hoover gift drive, leadership is having a gift wrapping party on Monday, 12/16, at 2:30 in Mr. Schueller’s room. This is a good opportunity to get community service! Hope to see you there! 12/16

Bonjour Sprague, do you want to learn about the French painter Monet and his art? Join us for French club TODAY (December 12^th) during lunch in room 123 to learn his art by recreating one of his famous paintings as a group. You’ll be painting his art as impressionists along with the rest of our French club members. Don’t miss it! Au revoir and see you TODAY at lunch!

Attention Olys:  The Library will be hosting the D.I.Y. Holiday Workshop next week, the 16^th through the 20^th, during Lunch and after school until 3:30.

Monday: we’ll make Stockings with hot coco and candy canes.
Tuesday: we’ll make Winter Slime.
Wednesday: we’ll be painting Ornaments.
Thursday: we’ll make Lego and Origami Ornaments.
Friday: we’ll be making Holiday Cards and Gift Tags.
