Congratulations to our homecoming court! Senior princes are: Elias Polanski, Ian Strawn , Max Hansen and Camden White. Senior princesses are:  Sidney Walton, Sarah Linder, Genevieve Hughes, and Ainsley Martin. Junior prince is Brayan Quevedo and princess is Kryztine Menez. Sophomore Princess is Hang Trann and prince is Portis Maun. And freshmen princess is Ally Baxter and prince is Isaac Yoakum. Congratulations! Voting for homecoming king and queen will be available online through a Google form, opening tomorrow, Friday, October 4th and closing at 11:59pm on Tuesday night, October 8th.  10/8

Do you know someone who is deaf?  Are you interested in deaf culture?  And last question, did you know that last week was Deaf Awareness Week?  Well, we did…we’re the ASL Club and we’d like to invite everyone who is interested in ASL to start coming to the American Sign Language Club meetings!  They are held the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at lunch in Ms. Hatfield’s room, that’s room 119.  The next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 9th at lunch.  Bring your lunch, friends and any questions you ever wanted to know about deaf culture.  See you then! 10/4

Leadership is holding a Halloween decoration drive to help us spruce up our look for the Fall Festival and for our halls during the Halloween season. if you have any decorations you are willing to donate, there will be a box in Mr. Schuellers room in 142. Thanks! 10/4

Attention Students:  On Wednesday, October 16th we will operate using an abbreviated schedule to accommodate PSAT and ASVAB testing as well as senior graduation prep work. Juniors may elect to take the PSAT as well for a charge of $16 if paid by October 9th.  Interested students must sign up and pay their fee to the Bookkeeper in the main office.  The cost will increase to $20 starting October 10th.  Signing up to take the PSAT on the day of the test is not permitted.  10/9

On Saturday, October 5th – The ASPIRE Room will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. for any student needing assistance with their FAFSA.  

Attention Swim Team, dry land practices will begin next week! Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 3:45pm in the weight room, wear good shoes! E-mail Coach Harrison with questions, ask Mrs. Goranson in the office for his email if you do not have it. 10/4

Homecoming dance is just around the corner, on Friday October 11th from 8pm to 10:30pm. Homecoming Dance forms and Guest forms are now available in the main office. If you are bringing a guest, you and your guest must complete a guest dance form. All Sprague students must complete a dance form.  All the forms must be completely filled out and returned to the main office no later than Wednesday October 9th, prior to purchasing tickets. The tickets are on sell for $8 or $5 with ASB card through the bookkeeper. Tickets will not be sold at the door.  We want everyone to have a fun, enjoyable, safe time at the dance and so appropriate dancing must be adhered to throughout the evening. Hey everyone! Next week is spirit week, and that means we have dress up days to announce! Monday will be pajama day. Tuesday is decades day – so wear some tie dye, neon, scrunchies, leather & denim, or your most dopest vintage jersey! Wednesday is color day, so freshmen wear grey, sophomores wear orange, juniors wear black and seniors wear white.  10/8

AP STUDENTS: AP Registration is now open from October 1st through to Monday November 4th. The cost is $75 per exam. If you are a Free and Reduced Lunch recipient, please stop by the main office. Students should also check with their coaches and/or music teachers to see if they will be involved in any activities that will create a conflict during an exam they intend to take. They need to bring Mr. Harris a note from the coach or teacher stating that they will need to take a late test. Students you must first join your AP Classroom before any payment will be accepted. Don't miss the opportunity to take your AP exam. Registration closes – November 4th, no exceptions. 11/4

Students planning to participate in the Chemeketa Placement Test Field Trip on Wednesday, October 16th will need to submit their signed permission slip,  Chemeketa ID number, and SBAC scores by Tuesday, October 8th to Ms. Dunn.     Students will not be able to sign up later.  If you need any information or have questions, please see Ms. Dunn. 10/8

Students planning to attend the University of Oregon Field Trip on Thursday, October 17th will need to turn in Signed Permission Slips to Ms. Dunn by Tuesday, October 8th.  There is a waiting list and students can get permission slips from Ms. Dunn or from the main office. 10/8

Please excuse the Boys Soccer team today at noon for their game at Mt. View High School in Bend. Bus leaves at 12:15 sharp. Go Olys!!!

The Sprague Fr/So. Football team had a dominant win last night versus Lincoln.  In a total team effort, the Olys controlled the game from start to finish, shutting out the visiting Cardinals. The team will now begin a tough 3 game road trip and will be back in Olympian Stadium on 10/31 vs. Ridgeview.
