Students, Are you
interested in a career in Education? A representative from the Salem
Keizer School District will be presenting opportunities in employment for
Sprague students on Tuesday, October 23rd at 11:30 in the ASPIRE
Room. Students are encouraged to sign up for this event through the
College Visit link on the website. 10/18
AP STUDENTS: AP Registration is now open from October 1st through
to Monday November 4th. The cost is $75 per exam. If you are a
Free and Reduced Lunch recipient, please stop by the main office. Students should also check with their coaches and/or music
teachers to see if they will be involved in any activities that will create a
conflict during an exam they intend to take. They need to bring Mr. Harris a
note from the coach or teacher stating that they will need to take a late test.
Students you must first join your AP Classroom before any payment will be
accepted. Don't miss the opportunity to take your AP exam. Registration closes
– November 4th, no exceptions. 11/4
There will be a field
trip to the Salem Area College Fair at Chemeketa Community College on Monday,
October 28th. Students can sign up through the College Visit
link on the Sprague HS website. 10/18
Environmental Club will
be meeting today in room 149 during lunch. Stop by and get involved in
our first projects of the year! See you then. 10/18
Are you missing a
really nice hydro flask? Come to the Main Office – we have 3 hydro flasks
that have been turned in.
The JV Football Team had
a disappointing loss at Summit yesterday. In a hard fought battle, the
Olympians came up short 24-22. A
reminder to the Defensive players--there is film at lunch today in P-33.
Are you interested in
joining the wrestling team this winter as it attempts to win its 8th
conference title in a row and 19th overall? If you are then attend
the wrestling interest meeting today at lunch in room 117. See you in Coach Harris’s room at lunch today.
