Senior Party tickets will be sold during the Oly Luau and Senior Awards. Tickets are $25 for an individual ticket or a $50 ticket is available to help a fellow senior attend which gives the purchaser an additional raffle ticket and $25,000 additional casino bucks to be used the night of the party.  If you miss these opportunities to purchase, you may purchase through VENMO @spragueseniorparty, by going to https://spragueseniorparty2019.rsvpify.com/ or by check with form in the office.

The Oregon Promise Application deadline is June 1st.  If you have an overall GPA of 2.50 or above, please apply for this opportunity to assist in paying for any Oregon Community College enrollment.   For more information, please see Ms. Dunn. 5/31

We have our annual Oly Luau coming up on May 24th! Tickets and wristbands will be sold in the commons at lunch. Admission for events including powderpuff and V-Oly ball are $5, $2 if you have ASB. Wristband includes a Hawaiian dinner and access to events for $15 without ASB and $10 with ASB. Luau shirts can also be purchased at the door for $10. We hope to see you there!

Attention all football players and anyone interested in playing football next year:  There will be a very short informational meeting this Thursday at 10:45 in the weight room.  Don’t be late…and expect the meeting to be real quick.  Don’t forget we start morning workouts next Tuesday!  5/23

Attention all Sprague students:  The Salem-Keizer School district is committed to creating a safe, caring and mutually respectful environment within our school community so that all students, families and staff feel welcome, valued, and supported.  The Superintendent’s Student Equity Committee is seeking 9-12 grade students from varied backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.  Participation requires monthly attendance to meetings on 3rd Thursday of each month.  Applications can be found in the College & Career Center. 5/24

Attention 2019- 2020 NHS Members- we will be meeting today, at lunch in rm 152.

Congratulations to Sprague math team members Helayna Janes, Camden White and Ben Russon who competed at the Oregon Invitational Mathematics Tournament this past weekend at Portland State University.  In the team problem solving competition, Helayna Janes team consisting of four randomly selected students took first place in the geometry and algebra 2 division.  Way to go Olys!

Congratulations to the Sprague Track and Field team that finished their season at the District Meet at Summit on Saturday.
Top performers for the Olympians were the following:
Mason Aften--2nd Team all MVC in the 800M
Elise Abbott--2nd Team all MVC in the 800M and 1500M
Ellie Stuart--Honorable Mention in the 800M
Zach Bartel--Honorable Mention in the 300M Hurdles
Jacob Luna--Honorable Mention in the Discus
Jared Gunn--2nd Team all MVC in the Javelin
Carter Cook--2nd Team all MVC in the High Jump.


Congratulations to the boy’s tennis team who took 4th in state this past weekend.  Judson Blair took 2nd place in state in singles, Ben Whitson and Anthony Martinez won a match in the doubles tournament and Josiah Barkes and Joshua Bradshaw participated as well.  Nicely done boy’s tennis on a great year.

Athletes, please return your clean uniforms to your coach at the end of the season. If your coach is not on campus, bring your uniform to your end of season award ceremony. Thank you. 5/24

Freshman, merch is in! If you ordered gear for the class of 2022, you can pick it up today and tomorrow in the commons at lunch and you can wear it on Thursday to show your Sprague Pride! 

SENIORS – Tickets for the Senior Banquet are now on sale. The catered dinner and presentation of superlative awards is at 6 pm on Wednesday, June 5th, the last school day for seniors. The cost is $20. You can purchase your tickets from the bookkeeper.

Students and staff! This week we will be having a spirit week to celebrate Luau on Friday. Here are the dressup days:

Tomorrow – “Game Day” – cheer on the Blazers by wearing your blazers gear! If you don’t have Blazers gear, just rock your red and/or black.

Thursday – Spirit Day – Wear your Sprague gear. Don’t have Sprague gear? Wear   Orange, white, or black (or visit the Oly Lounge for their spirit week sale!)

Friday – Luau – wear your luau garb! Hawaiian shirts, leys, sandals, etc.
