Attention members of the Class of
2019, The Counseling department is asking you to complete the Post High
School survey featured on the Sprague Website. The deadline to submit
your college choice, military enlistment, religious mission, or employment
opportunity after high school graduation is May 15th.
Tomorrow will be Decision Day for the Class of 2019. Seniors
will be encouraged to stop and “sign” their post high school plans. 5/2
The LKS Scholarship application deadline is this Friday. This scholarship is for any student planning to attend a college, university or trade school in the state of Oregon and family annual income below $100,000. This renewable award is between $1, 000 to $20,000. Applications are available in the College & Career Center. 5/2
The Oregon Promise Application
deadline is June 1st. If you have an overall GPA of 2.50 or
above, please apply for this opportunity to assist in paying for any Oregon
Community College enrollment. For more information, please see Ms.

Attention
graduating Olympians! Time is running out for claiming a spot for trying out as
a senior assembly or commencement ceremony speaker! The deadline for
application submission is this Friday. Swing by Mr. Curry’s room, room 133, and
pick up a form. They’re on display just outside his door. Fill out the form and
return to Mr. Curry directly or to his box in the main office. You can also
download the form from the schools website. The link is on the senior calendar.
The form and a copy of your speech is due May 3rd. That is this Friday! Tryouts
will happen the following week. If you have any questions, contact Mr. Curry
for details and help in crafting your speech. The more seniors who try out, the
better the speeches this June will be. 5/3

to Ellie Deloretto who took first place in the soprano division of the state
Solo contest this weekend!” Way to go Ellie!
The girls’ golf team finished second
at Districts, earning a chance to qualify for State at the Regional tournament
next Monday. Quincy Beyrouty finished in
3rd place yesterday shooting a 76, while Reese Sherwood finished in 4th place
shooting 85. Both players qualified as the two individuals from our District
going straight to the State Championship in two weeks.
The mango club is now the Mango/Pineapple
club. Stop by room 9 next Monday May 6th afterschool to learn about these tropical
fruits, and enjoy an ice-cream sundae.
If you signed up to play powder puff
there is an important informational meeting today at the beginning of lunch in
Mr. Schueller's room. This meeting is mandatory for anyone who wants to play powderpuff.
