Hey Olys, Do you like a challenge? Do you like math? Well you’re in luck!
Come to the Math League competition after school tomorrow in room 8 from 2:30 to 3.  All math levels are welcome so bring a pencil and your thinking cap. 5/3

Attention members of the Class of 2019, The Counseling department is asking you to complete the Post High School survey featured on the Sprague Website.  The deadline to submit your college choice, military enlistment, religious mission, or employment opportunity after high school graduation is May 15th

Today is Decision Day for the Class of 2019.  Seniors will be encouraged to stop and “sign” their post high school plans. 5/2

The second Junior Jumpstart session will be held tonight starting at 5:30 pm.  This event is open to any Sprague student and family looking for ways and methods to pay for college.  5/2

The LKS Scholarship application deadline is tomorrow.  This scholarship is for any student planning to attend a college, university or trade school in the state of Oregon and family annual income below $100,000. This renewable award is between $1, 000 to $20,000.  Applications are available in the College & Career Center. 5/2

The Oregon Promise Application deadline is June 1st.  If you have an overall GPA of 2.50 or above, please apply for this opportunity to assist in paying for any Oregon Community College enrollment.   For more information, please see Ms. Dunn. 5/31

Attention graduating Olympians! Time is running out for claiming a spot for trying out as a senior assembly or commencement ceremony speaker! The deadline for application submission is tomorrow. Swing by Mr. Curry’s room, room 133, and pick up a form. They’re on display just outside his door. Fill out the form and return to Mr. Curry directly or to his box in the main office. You can also download the form from the schools website. The link is on the senior calendar. The form and a copy of your speech is due tomorrow! Tryouts will happen the following week. If you have any questions, contact Mr. Curry for details and help in crafting your speech. The more seniors who try out, the better the speeches this June will be. 5/3

The mango club is now the Mango/Pineapple club.  Stop by room 9 next Monday May 6th  afterschool to learn about these tropical fruits, and enjoy an ice-cream sundae. 

Please release the boy’s tennis players at 12pm today for their match against McKay.

Team Sprague honored their 20 seniors yesterday at the end of their meet vs. West Salem.  In a perfect spring day, Sprague had many great performances.  Outstanding efforts were put in by:  Ellie Stuart won the 800M, Elise Abbott won the 3000m, and Charlotte Pederson and Kiera White tied for 1st in the Pole Vault. The Boys were led by double winner Jacob Luna who won the Shot Put and Discus, Carter Cook won the High Jump, and Landon Sorenson won the 1500m.  Congratulations Senior Track Athletes and all of Team Sprague for their performances.

Any student who cannot attend the rescheduled May 10th prom date and would like to request a refund should do so by completing a Refund Request Form in the Business Office.  Requests for refunds must be submitted by May 9th at 4pm. No refunds will be done after this date.
