Hey Olys! DECA will have their first chapter meeting today from 2:30 to 3:15 in Room 142. Come join us to go over events for the state competition and pick up membership forms.  Hope to see you there! 10/23

This week, representatives from Oregon State University, University of Oregon, Eastern Oregon University will be available to discuss your college application.  In addition, a U.S. Navy Recruiter will be conducting a Q&A session on Thursday.  Students and parents can sign up thru the College Visit link on the Sprague website. 10/27

Congratulations to Sprague Speech and Debate team for their outstanding work this month at the squad’s first two competitions: the Wilson High School Invitational on the 14^th, and the Jerry Hudson Invitation this last weekend at Willamette University. Sprague’s returning state champions have picked up where they left off last spring and continue to dominate their competition. Olivia Pereyra tied for 4^th in both After Dinner Speaking and also Prose Interpretation. Chauncey Koulibali placed 3^rd in Prose Interpretation and 2^nd in Program Oral Interpretation. Francesca Thompson has placed 3^rd in Program Oral Interpretation as well as bringing home two tournament championships in Poetry Interpretation and Prose Interpretation. And Lindsey Williams has won tournament champion honors in extemporaneous speaking, impromptu speaking, and Lincoln-Douglas debate, bringing home top speaking honors last Saturday from Willamette University.
