On Wednesday, September 27^th an information session on Financial Aid will be held for parents and students in the Library starting at 6 pm, and on Friday, September 29^th the ASPIRE center will host a drop in session for parents to discuss FAFSA and Financial Aid tips.   You can register for these events by going to the College and Career Planning link on the Sprague Counseling webpage.  You can also sign up for upcoming college visits on this page. 9/27

Attention all freshman! Freshman class elections are coming up very soon. If you are interested in running for student government and being a part of our leadership program, get an application to run in the office or from Mr. Schueller in room 142. This is a good opportunity to get involved and have fun! 9/20

Basketball Athletes, Open Gym will start next week, if you are planning on participating, you must have your athletic packets and current physical turned in to the office prior to attending. Forms are available in the athletic office. Open gyms are for athletes not participating in a fall sport. 9/21

Guest forms for Homecoming dance can be picked up in the main office. The form must be completed and returned by October 2^nd. 

October 11^th is PSAT day at Sprague High School.  If you are wanting to sign up for the PSAT test to qualify for National Merit Scholarship, see the bookkeeper will begin taking orders on Monday, September 18^th.  The cost is 16.00 dollars.  Please stop by before October 4^th to let us know you will be taking the PSAT test.  The cost will increase to 20 dollars if you wait until after October 4^th to register.  As a reminder, all Sophomores are given this assessment free of charge.  This year all Freshman will also be given the 8/9 PSAT test and will not need to pay for this assessment either. Attention Seniors:  Are you looking for scholarships to apply for and seeking a website ?  You can always visit Oregon CIS or Oregon Gear Up website for scholarship information.   For example, Coca-Cola Scholars Application is open to any current high school senior.  Interested?  Check out Coca-Cola Scholars.

Students who have release periods please go to the Main Office and sign up to receive a release card.

The Oly JV football team came away with a tough fought 50-35 victory over the McNary Celtics Monday night. Battling through the cold and driving rain Sprague managed to grind out the tough yards in a wet slugfest. The Olys move to 3-0 on the season and next play at McMinnville Monday night.

Do you need a homecoming dress? Chain Reaction can help! During the week of September 25^th through the 29^th, Chain Reaction will be holding a homecoming dress giveaway during lunch in the girls locker room.  They will also be doing the giveaway after school on the 28^th and 29^th from 2:30-3:30.
