On Wednesday, September 27th an information session on Financial Aid will be held for parents and students in the Library starting at 6 pm, and on Friday, September 29th the ASPIRE center will host a drop in session for parents to discuss FAFSA and Financial Aid tips.   You can register for these events by going to the College and Career Planning link on the Sprague Counseling webpage.  You can also sign up for upcoming college visits on this page. 9/27

Attention all freshman! Freshman class elections are coming up very soon. If you are interested in running for student government and being a part of our leadership program, get an application to run in the office or from Mr. Schueller in room 142. This is a good opportunity to get involved and have fun! 9/20

Boys interested in basketball open gyms and are not out for a fall sport, need to pick up a sports package in the office from Tracy Goranson.  Open gyms for boys basketball begin the week of September 25th.  Don't wait, pick up your sports packet today! 9/25

Guest forms for Homecoming dance can be picked up in the main office. The form must be completed and returned by October 2nd

Attention all students- if you do not have a locker and want one, please come to the main office. 

October 11th is PSAT day at Sprague High School.  If you are wanting to sign up for the PSAT test to qualify for National Merit Scholarship, the bookkeeper will begin taking orders on Monday, September 18th.  The cost is 16.00 dollars.  Please stop by before October 4th to let us know you will be taking the PSAT test.  The cost will increase to 20 dollars if you wait until after October 4th to register.  As a reminder, all Sophomores are given this assessment free of charge.  This year all Freshman will also be given the 8/9 PSAT test and will not need to pay for this assessment either. Attention Seniors:  Are you looking for scholarships to apply for and seeking a website ?  You can always visit Oregon CIS or Oregon Gear Up website for scholarship information.   For example, Coca-Cola Scholars Application is open to any current high school senior.  Interested?  Check out Coca-Cola Scholars.

Jostens will be here for Seniors at 8:40 and Juniors at 9:15 in the pantheon. Announcements will be made at dismissal times. 

Students, yesterday was September 17th, Constitution day, the day the constitution of the United States was signed on September 17th, 1787.  Our legislature in the State of Oregon has passed a law that this important document is acknowledged by our schools on this historic day.

Here is the preamble to this important document: 
We the people of the United States,
in order to form a more perfect union,
 establish justice,
insure domestic tranquility,
provide for the common defense,
 promote the general welfare,
 and secure the blessings
 of liberty to ourselves and our posterity,
do ordain and establish
 this Constitution for the United States of America.
