 March 7, 2022

The Spring Blood Drive is tomorrow. Signing up to donate is all done online and you can find the link and all the information on the school website. If you are 16 and would like to donate, you will need to turn in a parental permission slip to Amy West in room 18 before you can go on the schedule. You can find these permission slips on the website, in room 18, and in the attendance office. Please see Amy West in room 18 with questions.

Congratulations to the Sprague Olyannes (oh-lee-annes) Dance Team for placing first in the Show division at Thurston High School on Saturday, March 5.  In addition, six dancers placed in the top 10 of the individual novice drill down competition: freshmen Bella Terzenbach (Ter-zen-bock), Jillian Rodriguez Lentz, Micayla Wilcox and Layla Cassity with sophomores Lindsay Tudela (Too-del-ah) and Teresa Thao (Taow). Three Olyannes placed in the top 10 of the advanced drill down competition: juniors Kayla Pobuda (Pah-boo-duh) and Gracie Heagy (He-a-ge) and senior Ayiesha (I-ee-sha) Chang. The team's next competition will be the OSAA State Dance Team Championships on Friday, March 18, at Oregon City high school.

Congratulations to Chloe Rusetskiy, Sage Taloyo, Amy Charnholm and Payton Prys of the Sprague String quartet for winning districts on Saturday! Please congratulate them as they are going to state!

ATTENTION OLYS. In just a few months, the annual Spirit Competition will end, and the hyphy (High-fee) cup will be awarded to the winning class. This Thursday, march 10th, is color wars and it is worth DOUBLE SPIRIT POINTS. Freshmen wear grey, sophomores wear black, juniors wear orange, and seniors wear white. Double points means any grade could make a comeback and gain the lead.  3/10
