Auditions for the Spring Play dates have changed. These will take place today,Thursday, March 17th and Friday March 18th after school in room 162. Bring a song or monologue to audition with, and if you have any other questions please see Mrs. Purdie in room 162. 3/18

Sprague Track and Field successfully began their season yesterday at our Home Icebreaker Meet.  There were great performances all around.  Individual winners were Kossi Nwaele in the 100m, Amity Rogers in the 400m, and Kaydence Nguyen in the 800m.  Winners for the Boys were Brian Musack in the 100m, Toby Eckles in the 400m, Shawn Parker won both hurdle races, Tristan Howell won the Shot Put, Wil Charles won the Javelin, Sam Marley won the Pole Vault and Josiah Flu won the Long Jump.  A special thank you and shout out to our coaches and all of our volunteers who helped run the meet including Coach Bear, Mrs. Kleinman, Mrs. Charles, Mrs. Atkinson, Mrs. Burleson, Mr. Dinan, Mr. Gertenrich, and all of our parent volunteers.   Olympians, if you missed us yesterday, please join us and cheer us on at our next home meet Tuesday April 5th.  

Attention students! We are looking for volunteers to help with our Track and Field home meets. If you are interested in helping out, please stop by the athletic office and see Mrs. Butler. 

This year Prom will be on April 30th from 7:30-10pm at Illahe Hills Country club. For seniors, tickets sales will begin as soon as we return from spring break March 28th.  Juniors will be able to purchase tickets beginning April 11th. Tickets can be purchased through the bookkeepers office before school, during lunch and after school. All fines and fees have to be cleared before tickets can be purchased. Guest forms also have to be approved before guest ticket can be purchased. 

Want to help Ukrainians but don’t know how? Ms. Kenney in Room 155 is collecting supplies to send to aid relief efforts at the borders and beyond. Collections will be ongoing throughout the conflict in Ukraine and sent each Friday. The first shipment ships out March 25th so any donations for the first shipment need to be in by Friday, March 18th. The most needed items include: Medical Supplies, Non-perishable food items, warm clothing in larger sizes, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, toiletries, formula, women’s sanitary items, garbage bags, flashlights, power banks, extension cords, candles, etc. They said they most desperately need “to stay warm, to eat, and to have light.” For a full list of requested items or if you have questions,contact Ms.Kenney  kenney_emily@salkeiz.k12.or.us or see the posted lists around the school.
