Hey
Olys! Sprague's second blood drive is coming up on March 6th. Donating a single
pint of your blood will save up to 3 lives, so if you can, please do so! To
sign up for the blood drive you must be at least 16 years old and donors who
are 16 years of age must sign a parent-permission slip and turn in to Ms. West
or the office by next Wednesday, February 27th, or you will not be signed up to
donate. You can find the permission forms in the Office or in Ms. West's room
18. ONLY 16 year olds must have a parent-permission slip. If you are over 16
you do not need one. You can find information, sign up sheets, and parent permission
forms in the Attendance office or with Ms. West in room 18. 2/26
Key Club is doing the 1000 soles
shoe collection from the February 14th-28.th
Show
some love. Share your soles. Look for
our collection bins. We accept all athletic shoes, sports cleats, and
boots that keep feet warm & dry. No high heels or dress shoes needed. All
shoes are donated to 1000 Soles that serves Salem and Keizer's children and
teens facing homelessness & poverty. Consider your shoes one of the best
Valentines you'll ever give! 2/28

time for the winter comedy and Sprague’s Theater department is presenting Lend
Me a Tenor. This Rom-Com is filled with laughs and will entertain one and all.

PORTRAIT and QUOTE for the YEARBOOK. Go to room #141 after school to make sure
everything is perfect before that section of the yearbook is published. Once it
is published we CAN NOT make any changes. If you fail to proof, the yearbook

will be an important meeting today for all baseball players after school at 2:35
in th weightroom. Bring all baseball equipment and see you there.
On Friday, March 1 Sprague will host the
Salem Reads author Lily Brook-Dalton in the Pantheon during period 6. She
will be speaking about her life as a writer and discussing the book Good
Morning, Midnight. If you would like to attend, please sign up with
Mrs. Hardey in the Library. All are welcome!
Congratulations to your Sprague Wrestlers who earned a 3rd place trophy at the State Championships this past weekend in Portland. The Olympians had 7 state placers and were led by State champions Landon Davis and Santos Cantu. Davis scored a 5-4 decision in the finals to earn his first state title. Cantu had a 13-4 major decision to earn his 3rd state title. Other state placers included senior Daniel McClung capped off a stellar career with a 2nd place finish, and senior Aaron Joklur wrestled a great tournament by finishing 6th place. Juniors Colby Hemmert and Noah Worthington both finished 4th, and freshman Brayden Boyd finished 3rd. This is the 3rd state trophy in a row for the wrestlers. Congrats Sprague Wrestling on the state trophy, MVC title, and an undefeated conference dual meet season! 2/28
