Hey Olys! Sprague's second blood drive is coming up on March 6th. Donating a single pint of your blood will save up to 3 lives, so if you can, please do so! To sign up for the blood drive you must be at least 16 years old and donors who are 16 years of age must sign a parent-permission slip and turn in to Ms. West or the office by next Wednesday, February 27th, or you will not be signed up to donate. You can find the permission forms in the Office or in Ms. West's room 18. ONLY 16 year olds must have a parent-permission slip. If you are over 16 you do not need one. You can find information, sign up sheets, and parent permission forms in the Attendance office or with Ms. West in room 18. 2/26

Spring Athletes, Don’t forget to sign up for your spring sport this weekend, to register you now must go to the Sprague website and fill out your registration on-line!  Deadline to sign—up is February 22. First official day of tryouts is February 25th. 2/22

Any student  who has signed up to play golf this year, there will be an informational meeting this Friday, February 22nd in the Aspire room from 10:50 to 11:08.  Please attend for important information.  2/22

Key Club is doing the 1000 soles shoe collection from the February 14th-28.th
Show some love. Share your soles.  Look for our collection bins.  We accept all athletic shoes, sports cleats, and boots that keep feet warm & dry. No high heels or dress shoes needed. All shoes are donated to 1000 Soles that serves Salem and Keizer's children and teens facing homelessness & poverty. Consider your shoes one of the best Valentines you'll ever give! 2/28

Students, a Tardy Sweep is coming this week.  We will be handing out lunch detention slips for all students who return from lunch late on Feb. 21st.  Please be on time to all classes, your punctual attendance matters. 2/21

Mandatory Parent Track Meeting in the Library on Wednesday 2/20 starting at 5:30.  All students interested in participating in the Greatest Co-Ed Sport at Sprague need to attend with their parents. If you have any questions, direct them to Coach Charles in P-33.

On Friday, March 1 Sprague will host the Salem Reads author Lily Brook-Dalton in the Pantheon during period 6.  She will be speaking about her life as a writer and discussing the book Good Morning, Midnight.  If you would like to attend, please sign up with Mrs. Hardey in the Library.  All are welcome! 2/20

Congratulations to your #4 ranked wrestling team that won their 7th consecutive conference title this past weekend. The wrestlers qualified 16 for the state tournament and set school records with 24 conference placers and 8 conference champions. Taking home titles for the Olympians were Brayden Boyd, Aaron Joklur, Noah Worthington, Colby Hemmert, Brock McMullen, Daniel McClung, Santos Cantu, and Jacob Luna. Great job wrestlers and good luck at state this weekend! 2/20

Attention all students interested in playing softball:  The last day to sign-up for softball is this Friday, February 22nd.  Get your paperwork in to the athletic office ASAP and we will see you at tryouts on Monday!  2/22

Go to room #141 after school to make sure everything is perfect before that section of the yearbook is published. Once it is published we CAN NOT make any changes. It’s time for the winter comedy and this week Sprague’s Theater department opens Lend Me a Tenor. This Rom-Com is filled with laughs and will entertain one and all. Come see the show Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and again next week February 28th, and March 1st and 2nd! 3/1

On Saturday, Feb 23rd.  The ASPIRE Center will be open at 8 a.m. for any student needing assistance with the OSAC Scholarship Application, FAFSA, or any financial aid information.
