that time of year again! And this Holiday season is a great time to show off
your creativity. The Library will be hosting a DIY Holiday Workshop this year
for students and staff. Come by and create décor or gifts today during lunch, Dec.
12th after school or Dec 13th during lunch. Materials are
provided, we just need you to put your imagination to work! 12/13
Final lacrosse registration meeting will be held Thursday,
December 7th, 7:00pm in the Sprague Library. Hope to see you there. 12/6
Did you know that
computer jobs are the #1 source of new wages in the United States. There
are 500,000 current openings in computer science jobs. These jobs are in
every industry and every state, they are projected to grow at twice the rate of
all other jobs. Facebook just doubled their data security team this
fall. This week is an international event known as Hour of Code.
People all over the world are encouraged to write an hour of code this
week. For more information look at posters in the hallway, talk to your
teachers, or go to hourofcode.org and explore some ideas.
ATTENTION SENIORS! You must submit your Senior Portrait to
the YEARBOOK by Friday December 8th.
All information is on the YEARBOOK website. You can access the link
under the ACADEMICS menu on the Sprague website. Any portrait submitted after Friday is
subject to a $25 late fee until Feb. 9th. After that we can no
longer accept any submissions. GET THOSE

Starting
on Dec 11th, we will have our 2nd Annual “S” on the
Shelf. Each day Mrs. White will hide a metal Orange “S” and the first
person to see it needs to come see Mrs. White and tell her where it is.
You will receive a large candy cane stick. It could be hidden anywhere on
campus inside, which could mean in a classroom or administrative office. Happy Hunting, Ms. White! 12/8
Tis the season to eat CHURROS!
The Spanish Club will be holding its annual churro sale this Thursday at lunch.
Be sure to stop by in front of the office to get a sweet treat for only $1.00.

Congratulations to the boys varsity basketball
team for their impressive win at South Eugene last night. Teagan
Quitoriano hit 3 three pointers in a row, had a steal and a dunk in the 2nd
quarter to spark the Olys to a 13 point half time lead. Teagan ended up
with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Jailen Hammer played great defense and
chipped in 15 points, 4 assists and 4 rebounds. Max Long shot 5 for 5
from the field and ended up with 11 points. Kobe Withers a very good all
around game with 6 points, 6 assists and 6 steals. Come out on Friday at
5:45 as the Olys take on the Saxons at South Salem to open league play.
