Attention all baseball players: Now is the time to register for Spring Baseball. Please get your registration paperwork and sports physicals turned in NOW!  It’s a great day to be an OLY!  2/11

Do you want to fall in love? Well we can’t help you with that, but there is a price for everything. For the small price of 1, 2, or 5 dollars, you can send someone special a val-o-gram to create the spark! We will be selling val-o-grams on the commons stage at lunch now through February 9th. You can also purchase them from Ms. Atkinson in room 133. Sweeten someone’s day with a val-o-gram! 2/9

Key Club is partnering with Church of the Park to help the houseless people of the Salem community. From January 3rd through February 15th we will be gathering items to give to build warmth for those with housing instability during this cold season. Items such as coats for all ages that your family no longer is using- bath products,(toothpaste and toothbrushes) and non-perishable foods (like granola bars or pre wrapped jerky) food items that are portable. If you are wishing to donate: Mrs. Lee is taking items from Freshman, Mrs. K-T from Sophomores, Mr. Nickel for Juniors, and Mr. Mahi for Seniors. Check with your family, maybe they have items to share. We appreciate your help Sprague, let’s keep our community warm this winter! 2/15

Our Lost and Found table is overflowing!  Please check the Lost and Found table in the Commons for any items you may have misplaced.  For missing earpods, please check in the main office.  All items that are not claimed by February 15th will be donated. 2/14

The Sprague Olyannes (oh-lee-annes) dance team placed first in the Show division at their first competition of the winter season at Canby High school on Saturday, February 5. The team debuted their state routine earning the highest choreography score in their division and a Superior ranking, the highest given at the competition. In addition, freshmen Bella Terzenbach (Ter-zen-bock) and sophomores Lyndsey (Lind-say) Tudela (Too-del-ah) and Teresa Thao (Taow) placed in the top 5 of the individual novice drill down competition.  Senior Ayiesha (I-ee-sha) Chang and Junior Kayla Pobuda (Poh-boo-duh) placed in the top 5 of the advanced drill down competition. Attention Oly’s! Spring sports registration is now open! If you are interested in participating in baseball, softball, tennis, golf or track and field this spring please go on to FamilyID (found on the Sprague website) to register today! Students as a reminder you MUST have passed 5 out of 8 classes from Semester 1 and currently be passing 5 out of 8 classes during semester 2 to be eligible. You will also need a current sports physical that is good through the entire Spring season. Please note sports physicals are valid for 2 years. Don’t let an expired sports physical be the reason you are unable to participate. If you need a sports physical, get it scheduled now! If you have any questions, please stop by the athletic office, and see Mrs. Butler. Go Oly’s!
