Just a reminder that Spring sports registration is still open….but not for long! If you are interested in participating in a Spring sport, go on to FamilyID (found on the Sprague website) to register today! If you have any questions, please stop by the athletic office, and see Mrs. Butler. Go Oly’s!
Good Morning Sprague Students. The Sprague Baseball Program is looking for 2 game managers to work our home and away Varsity and JV baseball games. For your efforts, you will be fitted with this newest baseball gear and earn a weekly wage. Please see coach Buchheit if you are interested and want more details. Listen up ladies. The Sprague girls soccer program is hosting winter kickarounds over the next two weeks. Interested in playing girls soccer next fall? If so, come on out the next two Wednesdays and Fridays, February 16, 18, 23, and 25 from 7-8:30 on the turf. Bring your cleats, wear all black, and dress for the weather. 2/17
Are you interested in joining Boys Soccer? If you are, we need you to come on out on Friday from 5-6:30PM in the Stadium and join our Boy's winter sessions! Bring water, cleats, and ENERGY! You can also check in with Coach Juan before school, during passing time, or after school in the main office!
We’d like to congratulate all Sprague swimmers so far this year! Some highlights from the season include:
Jackson Brown took 4th in the 500 free, 2nd place in the 200 free relay and 3rd in the 400 free relay.
Matthew Graham earned a 3rd place finish in the 50 free, 4th place in the 100fly, 2nd place in the 200 free relay 3rd place in the 400 free relay
Christopher Jones swam to a 4th place in the 200 free, 4th place in the 100 free, 2nd place in the 200 free relay, and 3rd place in the 400 free relay.
Paige Schmelling, Jordan Koloszar, Audrey Caulder and Nicole Stanaway finished 7th in the 200 free relay, and 7th in the 200 medley relay.
Nicole Stanaway took 8th in the 200 Individual Medley and earned 7th in the 100 butterfly. She led the Olys to a strong finish in the 200 free relay with a split time of 26.
Jordan Koloszar finished 11th in the 500 free with another best time, and finished 12th in the 100 breast stroke.
Josh, Matthew, Jon, Matthew and Christopher will be leading the Olys to state. If you are sitting next to a swimmer, or see a swimmer in the hallway, tell them congratulations on an amazing season and good luck! Congratulations swimmers!
