There will be two College and Career
Workshops for Sprague students and families on Wednesday April 24th.
After a brief presentation, local college admission officials will be available
to assist you taking the next step. For more information, please see Ms.

Attention
members of the Class of 2019, The Counseling department is asking you to
complete the Post High School survey featured on the Sprague Website. The
deadline to submit your college choice, military enlistment, religious mission,
or employment opportunity after high school graduation is May 15th.
Students, please remember that the
Sprague Boosters Scholarship application is due by April 26th. You can pick up an application in the Main

Do you have a hidden talent? You should audition for the Oly
Talent Show. Pick up your application from Mr. Schueller’s room, room 142. The
applications are due April 22nd, and auditions are on May 7th. Show your
support for your peers on May 31st to watch the Oly Talent Show. 4/22
ATTN: All football players – there
will be an informational meeting on Thursday in the weight room at 10.40. Bring food with you, but DO NOT BE LATE!!!
This meeting is a must if you are planning on playing football next season.

NHS Applicants- please turn in applications by Wednesday, 4/24. Application
letters say they are due on 29th but once again please turn them in
by 4/24. If students have questions please ask Ms. Burleson or Ms. Beckham.

Bonjour Sprague! Are you crazy about
art? If so, join French Club tomorrow, Tuesday April 23rd at lunch in Madame
Higgins classroom, room 123. We’ll be learning about art and you’ll have a
chance to create a piece with friends. Everyone is welcome so bring your lunch
and friends for some fun!
Congratulations to the Sprague Speech and Debate team for their outstanding work this last weekend at the OSAA State Speech and Debate Championships. 11 Olympians with 21 entries competed against 400 students from across the state in 15 speaking and debating events. The following Olympians won individual awards: Eden McCall and Arianna Martin were octa-finalists in Parliamentary Debate. Alyssa Azar was a semi-finalist in Poetry Interpretation. Henry Mainwaring was a semi-finalist in Humorous Interpretation. Megan Baus placed 6th in Dramatic Interpretation. Lindsey Williams placed 3rd in Extemporaneous Speaking and Lincoln-Douglas Debate. And bringing home State Championship honors are Megan Baus and Francesca Thompson in Dual Interpretation and Lindsey Williams in Impromptu Speaking. This is her third championship in Impromptu Speaking out of her four years of competing. Overall, the Olympians took home 5th place in 6A competition. Awesome job Oly Speechies!!
