drive on the commons stage during lunch all this week to benefit Doernbecher
Children’s hospital. Bring your loose change to help us make a change! 12/7
This
week is National Computer Science Week. Sprague High School is taking
part in Hour of Code. Each day this week we will be highlighting some
information in the announcements. Take some time to read the posters in
the hall. Did you know that Computer Science majors make 40% more than
the average college graduate. Keep on Coding Sprague.
Are you pursuing a
career in Health Care? Apply for the Kaiser Permanente Health Care
Scholarship. At least 139 high school seniors will receive scholarships
in amounts ranging from $2,000 to $10,000. The Application deadline
is December 15th. For the Scholarships requirements, please

all Olys! Sprague DECA will be hosting another fundraiser – this time at
Chipotle! Come in this Sunday (December 9th) from 4-8pm and show the
cashier a hard or virtual copy of the poster you see around school to support
DECA! 12/7
BUENOS DIAS SPRAGUE.
The Spanish Honor Society is hosting the SPANISH CLUB ANNUAL POSADA next week
on Tuesday, December 11th after school. The fiesta will begin
at 2:45, so plan on stopping by for traditional Mexican food and other
surprises. The party is a pot-luck, everyone is encouraged to bring something
to share. Please talk to any of the Spanish Honor Society members or stop by

Today,
during lunch, Chain Reaction is having a cookie decorating party to kick off
the holiday season! It will be held in Ms. Wunderlich’s Room, Room 156. Bring a
friend and stop by for a cute, holiday snack.
Students of the Month
This year, Sprague will be recognizing students who are excelling
at leaving an OLY Legacy by following our school-wide behavior expectations:
Own Your Actions, Live a Life you are Proud Of, and Yes to Success. Each month,
Sprague staff will nominate and vote on students for our Student of the Month
award. The top two nominees from each grade level will be chosen as our
Students of the Month.
For our Student of the Month recognition, we focused on students
who excelled in the area of Owning their Actions. Congratulations to the
