The Cross Country team had many, many outstanding performances at the Northwest Classic last Saturday.The highlight was Ginger Murnicks who won the varsity girls race. Her time of 18:32 is the fastest known 5000 for any Sprague girl. Other top runners included Elise Abbott and Ellie Stuart for the girls and Nathaniel Honanie, Cole Akimoff and Josiah Herrera for the boys. Our next meet is this Wednesday against McNary and South Salem.

The marion county sheriff's office cadet unit is looking for young women and men between the ages of 14 and a half and 21. As a cadet you will provide valuable community services and assist deputies on ride alongs. The SAT and ACT is a required college entrance exam.  If you are planning or thinking about going to college, you will be taking one or both of these tests in the spring of your junior year.  Do you know which test you will do better on the SAT or the ACT?  On Saturday, September 26th Sprague will be hosting a HYBRID SAT/ACT TEST from 8:30-1:00 PMAll freshman, sophomores, and juniors are highly encouraged to take this test because the results of this test will tell if you will be more successful on the SAT or ACT.  The test only costs $10 and will give you an idea of what the real testing scenario feels like.  If you have any questions, please see your counselor. 9/25

The Sprague Girls Cross Country team defeated North Salem and West Salem on Wednesday. The top runners for the girls were Ginger Murnieks, Elise Abbott and Ellie Stuart. The top runners for the boys were Nathaniel Honanie, Braden Gardner and Magwyer Grimes.

Come out and support our girls soccer teams tonight as they take on Lakeridge. JV plays at 5 on the grass field and varsity at 7 in the stadium. Your support is always appreciated.
