Attention Olys: We will be holding the second annual Oly Spring Weightlifting and Cross fit Championships May 31st, June 1st and June 2nd at Sprague High School. There are divisions for both boys and girls. You can participate in either the cross fit or weightlifting or both. The cost is $15 for one competition or $20 for both. See Mr. Cash in Room 6 in the Pit for registering and any questions you may have. Last year we had over 75 participants, this year our goal is 100. Go Olys!!! (6/6)

Sprague Olyanne Dance Team auditions for the 2011-2012 season will be held on Friday, May 20 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Sprague Auxiliary gym. Audition rehearsals will run from 7:00 to 9:00pm through today in the auxiliary gym. Attention Olys: We will be holding the second annual Oly Spring Weightlifting and Cross fit Championships May 31st, June 1st and June 2nd at Sprague High School. There are divisions for both boys and girls. You can participate in either the cross fit or weightlifting or both. The cost is $10 before May 20th for either competition and $15 after May 20th or $15 before May 20th for both competitions and $20 after May 20th. Team Sprague Track and Field finished a great season with Districts last week qualifying 9 athletes for the state meet this Friday and Saturday at UO's legendary Hayward Field. This is our highest total of state meet qualifiers since 2007.
Great Performances were turned in by the following athletes:
Jordan Thomas in the 100M dash moved up to #2 all time in Sprague History.
Aubreanna Yellowbird in the Shot Put moved up to #2 all time in Sprague History.
Hannah Walton moved up to #6 all time in the 100M Hurdles.
Bethany Johnson claimed the top spot and the School Record in the Triple Jump.
Jeff Howard moved up to #5 all time in Sprague History in the 200M dash.

The Sprague Varsity softball team finished the regular season yesterday in style while handing South Salem only their second loss in the Central Valley Conference (we also gave them their first loss, too). Emilie Leach pitched a great game and Haley Grefenson had the game winning hit in the bottom of the 10th inning with two outs as the determined Olys defeated South Salem 6-5. Wow!!! A great way to head into playoffs. Great game girls. (5/13)

Sprague Olyanne Dance Team auditions for the 2011-2012 season will be held on Friday, May 20 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Sprague Auxillary gym. An informational meeting for interested students and parents will be held in the Sprague Library on Monday, May 16 at 7:00 pm. Audition rehearsals will run from 7:00 to 9:00 pm May 17 to 19 in the auxiliary gym. Congratulations to the 2011 CVC District Champions Boys Golf Team from Sprague High School! Your Olys cruised to the Central Valley Conference Championship going unbeaten in tournament play! Yesterday they capped their season by winning the district tournament, defeating Redmong by two strokes and South by 4! Way to get it done Olys and good luck at state! (5/4)
