After the long stressful day, I want to luxuriate in a long hot bath.

Have fun as an Outdoor School counselor for one week this spring! If you like the outdoors and children, volunteer to teach sixth-graders fun hands-on outdoor activities at the beach or in the woods, gain valuable experience for job and college applications, and earn community service hours. New volunteers need to attend one 3-hour training to sign up. Trainings will occur in the evenings on Feb. 28th (tonight), at South Salem High School and March 2nd at North Salem High School. Blood Drive Participants, the blood drive is this Thursday! You will get a slip on Tuesday during 2nd period informing you when your donation time is. Be sure to prepare yourself by drinking extra water and eating good iron-rich foods like beans, seafood, meat, and vegetables. Bring your Picture ID card to the drive with you. Congratulations to the wrestling team on their 2nd place finish at the OSAA State Wrestling Championships this past Friday and Saturday! Your Olys were led by two state champion finishers, Robert Barton at 119 lbs. and Brandon Griffin at 189 lbs., and a total of 9 Oly grapplers who scored points at the state meet on their way to their 2nd place finish overall. 2) The OSAA state basketball playoffs have arrived! On Tuesday, the Oly boys travel to Sunset High School in Beaverton for a 7pm tipoff against the Apollos and on Wednesday your Oly ladies visit Clackamas High School in southeast Portland to take on the Cavaliers at 7:15pm. Lets get out and support two of the best teams from the Central Valley Conference and pack the gyms at their place for these first round playoff games! Reminder, ticket prices are $4 for students! Oly Fans, it’s a huge day today for Oly Nation as your beloved Olympians take to the pool, the mat and the hardwood in playoff action all across the state. First, your wrestlers head to Newberg High School for their district/regional championships this afternoon as they compete in the new OSAA Super Regional Wrestling Tournament, with the finals scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at Newberg High School. Your Oly swimmers hit the water at Mt. Hood Community College this afternoon in the OSAA state swimming championships! With 8 swimmers in the pool the Olys are excited at their opportunity to compete for a state trophy! In the finale' this evening your Lady Olys Basketball team travels to West Salem High for a 2nd round CVC tournament playoff game against the Titans. Reminder, cost is $3 with an ASB card at West tonight. It’s a big weekend Oly Fans, get out there and support your beloved Olys any way you can! Go Olys! (2/18)

Oly Fans, tonight the first ever Central Valley Conference Basketball Tournament will tipoff with your beloved Lady Olys hosting the North Salem Vikings at 7pm here at Sprague High. Admission to the game is $3 for students with ASB cards and $5 for students without ASB cards, adult tickets are $6. Please note that no passes will be allowed for admittance to CVC Conference Tournament games. It was a prevalent view that Sprague would win the championship.

The Oly Pageant auction is now open! Support Dorenbechers Children’s Hospital by going on the Sprague website and clicking on the Oly Pageant Auction link, signing up is easy! Bid on a variety of items or services provided by the contestants…gardening, babysitting, pies and dinners are just some of the things you can bid on. Bidding will end on today at 5pm. (2/10)

ATTENTION: The Neon dance this Saturday, Feb 5th will be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. We will schedule another dance and more information will follow. The Sprague Olyanne dance team placed first in their division at the high school competition last Saturday.
