Donate money to the money jar that represents your team all this week at both lunches! If the Duck jar wins then Burleson and Masten will dress up as Ducks. YWCA Salem Gives Away Formal Wear to Teens for SnoBall
What: FREE Formal Wear Giveaway for teens to attend YWCA Salem’s SnoBall

Where: Hosted by YWCA Salem at The Bridal Gallery at 180 Liberty Street NE, on the corner of Liberty and Trade

The 57th Annual SnoBall Benefit Dance raises funds annually for YWCA Salem. It is a formal dance for all high school aged teens, and has been a tradition in Salem as a girl-ask-boy dance.

YWCA Salem has partnered this year with The Bridal Gallery and Abby’s Closet (Portland) to give away over 400 FREE gently used formal gowns for SnoBall. We will also give away 100 designer gowns and 100 pairs of shoes, courtesy of The Bridal Gallery.

Teens will have an opportunity to “shop” for the formal wear of their choice and try them on in luxury dressing rooms.

At the event, YWCA Salem will be giving away few sets of free SnoBall tickets, Bronze Planet will offer some free products and services, Stalnaker’s Photo Studio is giving away a few free

photo packages, and Melissa Myers of Mary Kay will be on hand to provide professional make-up tips and free make-up samples.

Z100 Portland 100.3 FM and Wild 107.5 FM will make a special radio appearance from 6:00-8:00pm and also provide giveaways. (11/12)

On Saturday, at their first competition of the fall season, The Sprague Olyanne Dance Team placed an outstanding second in their lyrical division. Special recognition goes to freshman Ellen Reece who placed 2nd out of 150 in the novice drill down competition. Congratulations to the Olyannes! (11/9)

Halloween may be over, but it’s not too late to Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF! If you see a little orange box, you’re strongly encouraged to leave some change. Proceeds go towards providing education opportunities to children in Uruguay. No matter how big or how small, every donation counts! (11/5)

Join us for our first ever "Spirit Party" today after school. We will have express lanes for people who need to take the bus. Grab a piece of pizza, enjoy time with friends, and honor the sports teams that made it to playoffs! Thanks for being a great school Sprague! (11/5)
