Students and Staff: Over 10 billion yogurt cups and 3.6 billion drink pouches end up in the landfill every year. Yogurt cups are recyclable, just rinse them out first. Drink pouches are not recyclable, so do not buy them! (11/16)

Congratulations to the Sprague Olyannes dance team for successful completion of their first competition this season at Wilsonville High School last Saturday. The Olyannes placed third against strong competition in both the lyrical and jazz divisions. Special recognition goes to Kelsy Maggi and Matti Menser for their top five placements in the novice drill down competition. This achievement qualifies Kelsey and Matti to compete in the fall drill down state championships in December. (11/16)

A Day Advisory Schedule

It is a scary when cars randomly transgress the centerline on the freeway. (11/6)

On Saturday, Nov. 7 at 3pm, the Olys host the Southridge Jayhawks in an OSAA girls soccer first round playoff game. Admission to the match is $6 for adults, $4 for students, and ASB cards/Conference passes are not accepted.

On Saturday, Nov. 7 at 2:35pm, Hannah Cohen and Josue Rodriguez challenge for their respective OSAA State Cross Country titles at Lane Community College. Admission to the meet is $6 for adults, $4 for students, and ASB cards/Conference passes are not accepted.

There will be an Outreach Club meeting after school in Mr Lake’s room. Please come since we have to talk about the Food Walk and the Christmas caroling. (11/5)

On Saturday, Nov. 7 at 2:35pm, Hannah Cohen and Josue Rodriguez challenge for their respective OSAA State Cross Country titles at Lane Community College. Admission to the meet is $6 for adults, $4 for students, and ASB cards/Conference passes are not accepted.

Over the weekend the Boys Water Polo Team played in Eugene for the District Playoffs. They beat S. Salem 12 to 10, with Conner Plant being the top scorer with 4 goals. The team now moves on to the State Qualifiers this coming Saturday. The All Conference water polo teams were recently announced with the following Sprague Boys making teams:
1st Team: Eric Hance and Nathan Smith-Tripp
2nd Team: Conner Plant & Alex Bernardo, with Ezri Martinez as goalie
Honorable Mention: Blake Ashford, Grant Lemons, and Morgan Gower
