Congratulations to sophomore Santos Cantu who represented Team USA this past weekend at the Pan-Am Championships in Guatemala. Santos won a gold medal in freestyle outscoring his opponents 31-0 and won a bronze medal in Greco-Roman. Great job Santos on your international success and on representing your school and your country well!

Attn Olys!  All library books and textbooks are now overdue.  Please return all materials as soon as you are finished with them to avoid long turn-in lines at the end of the year.  SENIORS: all books must be returned before you can walk at graduation. 

Yearbooks should arrive sometime today and we will begin distribution today! Pre-ordered books can be picked up on the stage in the commons at lunch.

If you wish to purchase a yearbook it will be strictly first come first serve for the additional books that were ordered by grade level on the designated date above. Those will be available at the bookkeepers window for $65.  We sold out last year, so be sure to get one before they are gone!

Did you miss Cheer tryouts last week? Don’t worry! If you are interested in 2018-2019 Oly Cheer, meet the new coaches today at lunch in the Oly forum! Bring your lunch and get the info!

Cross country runners! And anyone else looking to stay Summer Fit!  Please join us daily starting Tuesday, June 5, after school for an easy run.  Runs will start outside Mr. Kramer’s room, Room 12 in the Pit. Stay in shape and enjoy the social atmosphere as we roll into summer.  Check the Athletic Office or see Mr. Kramer for more info.

On Wednesday, May 30th  there will be a College and Career Jumpstart Workshop for students and parents.  ASPIRE Sprague is hosting Kristen Grainger (pronounced GRAIN-GER), President of the Oregon Alliance of Independent Colleges and Universities and Ben Brummund (Pronouced Bruh-mond), Access Specialist for Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion.  Both Speakers will be providing details on scholarship, financial aid, and college application tips.   The event starts at 5:30 p.m. in the ASPIRE Center. 5/30

Campus Beautification is taking place today, after school from 3-6 in the stadium! Come support Sprague by taking care of our campus! Congratulations to Boys Tennis for a 4th place finish at the State Tournament. Notable finishes included Sebastian Hammond as Consolation Champion, Judson Blair as a Quarterfinalist, and Anthony Martinez and Ben Whitson advancing to the Round of 16.

Attention Sprague students and staff!  The baseball program would like to invite all those interested in working on your suntan while watching the OLY Baseball Team take on Tigard today at 5:00 for the first round of the OSAA Baseball play-offs.
