Tomorrow is Veteran’s Day. November 11th is the day that World War I ended in 1918. This Day of Remembrance was set aside by Congress to honor all veterans of the armed services.

This is a worldwide day of honor:  Tomorrow, France, Belgium, Israel, Poland, and Canada and a dozen other countries will honor their veterans and remember the end of the war, pray for peace and an end to war.

What will you do tomorrow?  You may sleep in, you may go to a movie, or you may catch up on your homework.  Some of you may attend a veteran’s day ceremony or parade.

But, while you do this, take a moment to remember those who gave their lives for the freedom you enjoy today.

Thank you, veterans past and present. Thank you for living and dying for us.  We will never forget.
