Graduating Seniors of 2016! Don’t forget on Friday June 10, 2016 from 10:00 pm - 3:00 am at South River Road Courthouse Athletic Club. We will be having the Sprague Olys 2016 Graduation Party. Join us for a night of fun, including a casino room, photo booth, inflatable twister, air hockey, pingpong, racquetball, wally ball, boxer bingo and tons of awesome prizes! Don’t forget your swimsuit and towel for the pool and bring an appetite for delicious food, desserts and pop. Senior Locker cleanout is Wednesday June 8th at 10:26.  All seniors done with finals will clean out their lockers and return books to the Library.  Senior teachers please come to their hallway and help supervise this process.

Congratulations to Merrel and Curry for making it to the final round of student-teacher debates. The final round will be in room 102 on Wednesday at lunch. The topic will be "Should school start in august and end in may" Curry and Brandon will be Affirmative and Merrel and Sebastian will be negation. Ballots will still be one dollar and 7 for 5. The entry fee of one dollar also buys a ballot. 6/8


Love to Read? Love to Compete? The 2016-17 Oregon Battle of the Books Teams will meet in the library during lunch on Wednesday, June 8.   All interested participants are welcome.  We will distribute the awesome book list and chat about books to read over the summer!

The semifinal rounds of student teacher debates are here! Today at lunch In room 101, Dey and Curry debate Pens v Pencils. In room 102, Dougherty and Merrel debate DC verses Marvel. Pay just one dollar to get in and automatically get a vote on who wins. You can stack your ballots so buy 1 for 1 dollar or 7 for 5 dollars to make sure your favorite teacher wins!

If you took a Willamette Promise test this year, you MUST notify your teacher this week if you want the college credit.   You must also bring a check for $30 to the bookkeeper.  If you do NOT notify your teacher this week you will not be able to get college credit at a later date. 6/3

Just like how the NBA drags on their playoff series, the Sprague student teacher debates will resume Monday at lunch with semifinal rounds between Dey and Curry over "pens v pencils" in 101 and Dougherty and Merrel over "DC v Marvel" in 102. The semifinal and final rounds on Monday and Wednesday will cost one singular dollar to get in, and you automatically get a ballot to vote on who wins, but you can purchase additional ballots to make sure your team wins! Capitalism at its finest! Remember, Monday and Wednesday at lunch in rooms 101 and 102. 6/3

Attention seniors:  Senior Banquet tickets are still available for $20.  Purchase them this Thursday or Friday during lunch in the commons.  The Banquet will be Wednesday June 8th at 6:00 pm at the Spinning Room at Mission Mill. The Senior Award Assembly will be Thursday morning June 9th starting at 9:00 am in the Stadium.  Please report to the lower gym at 8:45 am in your graduation gown.  You will not wear your caps for the assembly. Graduation Practice will begin at 8:30 sharp on Friday June 10th.  Gates open at 8:00am.  Attendance at rehearsal is required for all graduating seniors participating in the commencement ceremony.
