Congratulations to Austin Kleinman who placed 4th in the State in the Discus Throw at the State Meet last Friday and Saturday at Historic Hayward Field in Tracktown, U.S.A.  Austin competed like a champion throughout the competition and was Honorable Mention All-State as well for his accomplishment.
Other Team Sprague Athletes who competed well at the State Meet included the girls 4x100 team and the 4x400 teams.  Led by anchor leg and senior Maggie Boles, both teams P.R.ed at the State meet.  The 4x100 team of Maggie, Esther Young, Emily Kraschel and Mia Diaz with alternates Ellie Oven and Natalia Rodriguez competed well and finished higher than they were seeded with a P.R. run that barely missed the sub 50 sec mark.  The 4x400 team also ran well, P.R'ing by more than 2 seconds with Maggie, Esther, Mia and Alexa Smith, with alternates McKenna James and Lexie Harman.
Tejas Godbole tied his P.R. by jumping 6'1" and competed well for his first time at the State Meet, and Leah Olivo barely missed the Finals in the Triple Jump, competing very well for her first time as well.
A reminder for Team Sprague Track and Field Athletes that have not turned in their uniforms that they are due to Coach Charles in P-33 now.  Fees for missing uniforms will be sent to the Bookkeeper on Wednesday.

Finally, Team Pictures are in.  Come by P-33 to pick up yours if you ordered them.
