Not only our students won the first place and gold medal, they have also received the highest score ever awarded to any group in the thirty years long history of that festival.

This past Saturday, Sprague String Camerata Orchestra tied for the first place with Reynolds High School at the Salem-Keizer District Festival for orchestras. One of the adjudicators wrote in his evaluation: "The slow movement sounded like a fine professional orchestra."

We are all proud of our students whose dedication to music and learning keeps Sprague High School continuously be recognized as an excellent place for learning music. (4/14)
