It’s time for a special announcement regarding one of our clubs: Sprague
Racquetball. As many of you may not have known, Sprague was missing around 40
Students last week as the Racquetball team went to Nationals in St. Louis Missouri.
The tournament lasted all week and schools from around the U.S. showed up to put
their skills to the test. Despite the tough competition however, our very own Sprague
Racquetball team came out on top, winning the national title for a third time in the
last four years. The celebrations didn’t stop there, as boys went on to place a very
close second and girls a very strong fifth. So, with our team contending for the national
title, many students, of whom some are probably in your class, went on to win
national medals themselves. Two players in particular deserve an important shout out.
not only did they win a medal or two but they also became the number one
mixed doubles team in the nation; Tanya Ulloa and Connor Laffey. Congratulations
guys for that outstanding accomplishment! And congratulations Sprague Racquetball
for your dedication and hard work! (3/10)

March 2 is Read Across America Day honoring Dr. Seuss and his birthday. In honor of this day here is our….
Read Across America Poem
You're never too old, too wacky, too wild,
To pick up a book and read with a child.
You're never too busy, too cool, or too hot,
To pick up a book and share what you've got.
In schools and communities,
Let's gather around,
Let's pick up a book,
Let's pass it around.
There are kids all around you,
Kids who will need
Someone to hug,
Someone to read.
Come join us March 2nd
Your own special way
And make this America's
Read to Kids Day.
