All students not involved in a winter sport, who are thinking of joining Team Sprague Track and Field this spring---There will be a meeting in Coach Charles' Room (Rm.159) at the beginning of lunch on Thursday Dec. 8th. The Sprague Olyanne dance team qualified for the fall state championships with their second place finish in the Novelty category at the Santiam Dance team competition on Saturday, December 3rd. The dance team will compete in the championships at Reynolds high school on Saturday, December 10th. In addition, team members Rachal Wilhite and Kelsey Maggi qualified to compete as individuals in the drill down competition at the fall championships. Congratulations to all of the Olyannes! (12/6)

Tomorrow we remember the 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7th.
Over 2,402 Americans were killed, 1,177 on the Arizona alone. The attack was a surprise, and as a result America entered World War II. Over 450,000 Americans lost their lives in this War. Seventeen Oregonians died in the attack on Pearl Harbor. (12/6)
